FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Parents,

We are delighted that you are considering a Montessori education for your child. The Manor Montessori School’s quality early learning environment has much to offer to children during these very important formative years. We have provided leadership in Montessori instruction for fifty years. We continue to devote ourselves to maintaining the highest ideals of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and technique.

Montessori’s method of teaching children is one that never underestimates the abilities of the child. Our staff embodies this spirit and philosophy to assist children in reaching their fullest potential.

Our school is open to children of any race, religion, national or ethnic origin. All Manor Montessori School teachers have earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a Montessori diploma from either Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) or American Montessori Society (AMS) for the age group they teach. Our school is accredited by the Maryland State Board of Education and is in cooperation with the Washington Montessori Institute teaching program.

At The Manor Montessori School, children discover that learning is a joy that can last a lifetime. We invite you to join us in providing your child with this unique educational opportunity.
